FM English Courses

ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES
Courses are intended for physiotherapists/osteopaths/chiropractors and medical doctors. According to individual provider decisions and country regulations other registered health practitioners with a good working knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology, notions of postural analysis and movement dysfunctions may be admitted.

Participants learn to evaluate musculoskeletal dysfunctions, with specific reference to the human fascial system, and to apply the Fascial Manipulation technique as taught by Luigi Stecco. Lessons include anatomy and physiology of the fascial system, explanation of the biomechanical model used in application of this technique and the anatomical localization of key fascial points.  Emphasis is placed on the evaluation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions (from anamnesis to hypothesis to verification and treatment) together with methodology and strategies of treatment.

Diploma Courses consist in 2 Levels - Level I (6 days) and Level II (6 days). Course can be divided into 1° part and 2° part  (e.g.friday, saturday, sunday) to reduce out-of-office time or 6 straight days. Theory lessons, demonstrations, and practice between participants alternate throughout the day. The two Levels are interrelated so participants will need to attend both Levels for a complete qualification in Fascial Manipulation. There is an exam at the completion of each Level to evaluate competency levels.
